From Hostess to Owner: Lindsay Pultz’s Journey at Café Brazil
Lindsay Pultz’s journey is a testament to vision, resilience, and purpose. She began at Café Brazil as a hostess, while her husband worked in the kitchen. Through unwavering dedication, strong work ethic, and a genuine love for their team, customers, and company, Lindsay rose through the ranks to become CEO.
With a shared dream of one day owning the business, the Pultz remained committed, and in September 2025, that dream became reality when Lindsay was approached with the opportunity to purchase Café Brazil. Today, she proudly leads as its newest owner.
Their story, however, is also marked by profound loss. After losing their son to a fentanyl overdose, the Pultz family has turned pain into purpose - becoming passionate advocates, bringing awareness, and creating pathways for families navigating this devastating epidemic.
Join us as Lindsay shares a story of strength, faith, and perseverance—reminding us all that even in life’s hardest moments, purpose can rise, and impact can be born.

In December 2025, I AM She brought together an inspiring community of women and men, couples, business leaders, and supporters for the Roaring 20’s Christmas Gala 2025—an evening centered on purpose, connection, and meaningful impact.
Through shared experiences and important conversations, the night helped bring greater awareness to the needs within our communities and the importance of using our collective influence to create lasting change.
Thanks to your generosity, we raised over $20,000 to support the mission of I AM She, with $5,000 directly contributed to initiatives making a tangible difference in the lives we serve.
We are sincerely grateful to every guest, sponsor, and volunteer who made this evening possible. The connections formed and awareness sparked will continue to create lasting impact well beyond the event.

She’s supported over 76 bills across 20 states, filed 3 amicus briefs to the U.S. Supreme Court, and built a national trade association. Tami has advised 250+ companies on compliance and systems design, earning multiple honors, including the Women in Business Award from the Dallas Business Journal and recognition in the Cambridge Who's Who of Executives and Professionals.
Kristen Cruz is a Texas native singer-songwriter and America’s Got Talent semi-finalist celebrated for her powerhouse voice and heartfelt performances. Known for her authenticity and transparency, Kristen shares a message of self-love and empowerment that resonates deeply with her millions of followers. Her journey reflects courage, faith, and a passion for inspiring others through the power of music.

Poiema Foundation educates the public and raise awareness to prevent sexual abuse, sex trafficking, and other methods of sexual exploitation. We help with the restoration journey of survivors in our safe house by providing for their physical, psychological, emotional, and spiritual needs.
